What happens next

Four steps, and you know where you are in all of them

01

You send an enquiry

A phone call, an email, or the form. A short description is enough - no history, no reports, no preparation needed.

Fifteen minutes is the usual first conversation
02

The consultation

We review what is concerning you, what has already been tried, which assessment or therapy fits, expected wait times, insurance considerations and scheduling.

Often answers the question on its own
03

You decide

There is no obligation to proceed, and no pressure applied. If the honest answer is that nothing needs testing yet, you will be told that.

04

The work begins

Assessment, therapy, a group, or a referral elsewhere - whichever the conversation indicated, and nothing that it did not.

Before you write

Three things worth knowing

QuestionAnswer
Do I need a referral?

No. Anyone can contact the practice directly. Where a GP, school or specialist is involved, they are welcome to refer, and the report is written to be read by them too

What does it cost?

Fees are discussed during the initial consultation. Nothing arrives as a surprise.

How long is the wait?

Current availability is discussed at the initial consultation - you will get an honest answer for your specific situation.

Is it confidential?

Yes. Nothing is shared with a school, employer, club or clinician without your consent, and that includes the fact that you enquired

What if I am not sure it is anything?

Then say so. Uncertainty is a perfectly good reason to have the conversation, and it is a common one

In an emergency
This is not an emergency service. If someone is in immediate danger, contact the emergency services or the relevant crisis line in Bermuda.
